Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Japanese whisky and discover the precision, elegance and exceptional craftsmanship behind some of Japan’s most renowned expressions.
The tasting will be led by Samin Aghaeihajiagha, Brand Ambassador for The House of Suntory. She will provide fascinating insights into the history, production and distinctive style of Japan’s traditional whisky houses.
Highlights of the Masterclass
Look forward to two exceptional Japanese whiskies: Yamazaki 18 and Hibiki 21. Both expressions are among the most sought-after creations from The House of Suntory internationally and are distinguished by their remarkable depth, harmony and aromatic complexity.
Another highlight is the Hibiki Deconstructed Tasting. Selected whisky components from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries will be tasted individually. This allows you to understand how different aromas and characteristics are brought together and how the multi-layered composition of Hibiki is created. It is a rare opportunity to experience the Japanese art of blending in a particularly vivid and insightful way.
The Masterclass will be rounded off with a selection of sushi from the SHIKI kitchen.
