Thanks to the inherited expertise, Suzugami<\/strong> is crafted in the Shimatani Syouryu workshop<\/strong>.<\/h3>\n

Suzugami<\/strong>, or \u201ctin paper,\u201d is the name of this unique creation: as thin as paper, highly durable, and endlessly foldable into any desired shape.<\/p>\n

Suzugami refers to these intriguing tin sheets that can be shaped entirely according to your wishes. They can be turned into plates<\/strong>, bowls<\/strong>, cutlery or chopstick rests<\/strong>, displays<\/strong>, or trays<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n

You can fold<\/strong>, shape<\/strong>, roll out<\/strong>, or flatten<\/strong> them \u2013 the possibilities are limitless. It all depends on your imagination!<\/p>\n

These hammered tin sheets are available in two patterns with poetic names that relate to rain<\/strong>. The Japanese language has an especially rich vocabulary for describing nature and its variations:<\/p>\n
